Aquatint Dyed F Chalk & Fresh S

My lovelies:

1) Join me to send all love, prayers and best wishes to ‪@bombastikasmr‬ and family as they mourn the loss of her father. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

2) What is going on in this world? Seriously WHAT IS GOING ON? There seems to be crisis everywhere we turn. All of these world events urge us to WAKE UP and to really get on our knees and pray for peace in every corner of this world. My mind truly boggles and I sincerely ask God to to have mercy on us all. Hmmm.

3) Meanwhile at Mass, the Gospel reading was about the time that Jesus sent out his Apostles to go spread the word. And what marveled me was the instructions He gave them. Basically, He asked them to go as they are, do not take much, do not pre-plan too much, just go live with people who will accept you, and if they do not accept you, just shake it off, etc.

It comes across as quite a lackadaisical approach to an important life purpose. But I think there is a major point here - that we are called to do God's work, each of us, and that while doing that work we must focus on the work and not worry about the logistics because GOD will provide. We are called to come as we are. No mega arrangements, and certainly no major investments. Like, we may be tempted to think oh in order to do this I must first achieve A, B and C and then finally I will be ready to do what God has been asking of me.

I am here to remind myself (and hopefully others), that time waits for no man and we must start NOW, just as we are with exactly what we have. And God will provide the rest. Another week and another way to say FAITH is the answer. Do not procrastinate, pick up your cross today. The sooner the better because you get to exchange it for a crown quicker. ;)

Be encouraged my lovelies. Yes, the world appears to be in turmoil and I am deeply convinced that the fight is not at the surface. We are fighting principalities and demons. Christ has already won though, but our laser sharp focus now must be to fall in line with His will and march to the victory which has ALREADY been won.

Ps - someone asked to crush F chalk with aquatint dye and here it is. I am 98.4% sure this is mostly aquatint dye. There might be a couple pieces dyed with decopac. I truly enjoyed this crush. Amidst all the terrible news in the world, i hope this serves as a small corner of peace and respite for us.
