Shakedown Ride of 21 Year Old Kawasaki Z1000- Best Naked Bike

Why on earth would I buy a 21 year old naked sport bike??!!

Last weekend I bought a new to me 2003 Kawasaki Z1000 streetfighter style bike. Even though I've been looking at 2024 Ninja 500s and Z900s to replace my 2015 Versys 650- I HAD TO HAVE THIS BIKE! I'll explain why in the video.

With only 9500 miles on it and 20 year old tires, this is my first time riding the bike so I figured I'd get some footage of the experience- it was definitely an experience!

Parts flying off, leaking oil, and changes in plans due to an emergency phone call. Thankfully I had my Bluetooth headset on and even captured the call on video too.
