NPR Tiny Desk Entry 2022

This song is about the immigrant culture I witnessed in my home and in my community. Facing conformity, the preservation of our roots, survival, carrying older generations' trauma, and most importantly - hope.

This video was made in collaboration with Margot & The Midnight Tenants and Ambrose Getz in Bushwick, Brooklyn. We co-produced this Tiny Desk Dollhouse Session in the spirit of working and singing hand in hand, helping one another, and pooling our resources to go further, together!
