The man who played the violin in his childhood is gone, listening to the violin, like this line of Kabir Suman's and Ganwala's song, I heard the melody of his violin when I was a child. I remember he used to go to play the violin in front of the house, the children would run out of the house and chase after him. The crowd of children behind this Dhaka violinist was so big as if he was the fiddler in the fairy tale Hamilion. I used to wonder how he plays this melodious instrument, how the tune comes out of this one stringed violin. After I got a little older, I bought a violin from him, I thought I could play like him, but I couldn't. Today, after so many years, I found him again on the side of a familiar road. He looks exactly the same in my eyes. Our Salah Uddin brother with a one string violin in his hand, always smiling. Today my blog is about him.
