So is it worth it to get expensive pasture raised eggs vs conventional eggs?
With conventional eggs, chickens are living in a warehouse and they're eating corn and soy, which isn't part of their normal diet and this will have several negative affects:

It'll make their eggs nutritionally inferior and they'll contain lower amounts of fat soluble vitamins, like vitamins A, D, and E which support your hormones. And they can also contain lower amounts of choline and selenium which support your brain, liver, and thyroid.

And because they're living indoors in an unnatural environment with no natural light, limited space, and increased social stress - this can increase their stress and cortisol levels which can further contribute to lower quality eggs and yolks that are lighter in color.

However, I will say this, if all you can afford are conventional eggs, don't worry about it too much because one of the most important parts of the chickens life cycle is the egg and the chicken will biologically to evening it can to ensure that is eggs are healthy.
