What is 7 Days to Die?

7 Days to Die is an open world, voxel-based sandbox game created by The Fun Pimps. It is a mash up of first-person shooter, survival horror and role-playing games combining combat, crafting, looting, mining, exploration, and character growth.

Why choose Always Run?

I was fairly bored with the slow and boring variety of the 7DtD zombies and wanted to do something different for my first Let's Play. I have played with zombies set to Always Run before so I sort of know what I'm up against. Definitely not recommended for new players.

Why don't you use wood log spikes?

I enjoy the tower defense aspect of the game and don't see much challenge in having zombies kill themselves on invulnerable automatic defenses. Xeo kills Zeds - not the wood log spikes.

I also play with block damage turned up to 200% so the zombies break through defenses twice as fast. This adds more urgency to zombies assaulting my base and increases the difficulty significantly - especially during the night.
