The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure On Ride POV - Chessington World Of Adventures

Take a ride on the new for 2017 Gruffalo River Ride Adventure at Chessington World Of Adventures Resort. Join everyone's favourite Gruffalo character Mouse, on a magical riverboat journey through the deep dark wood. As you float down the lazy river, the world of The Gruffalo will magically unfold in front of your eyes, with exciting twists and turns along the way.

The new attraction uses the same boat ride as Bubbleworks with no changes to the layout or operation. The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure uses projection mapping, great theming and unique smells to create a fantastic family attraction that's a worthy replacement of Bubbleworks.

The ride officially opened on Saturday 19th March 2017 and replaced the parks iconic Bubbleworks attraction that operated from 1990 - 2016.
