Using Twitter’s Advanced Search
1. Launch Twitter on your phone.
2. Go to ‘Advanced Search.’ You can also visit twitter.com/search-advanced (the link is in the description)
3. Go to 'Accounts.'
4. Add your username from the section 'Under these Accounts.'
5. Go to the ‘Add Dates’ option and enter the start and end dates
6. Click ‘Search,’ and Twitter will display all the tweets from that time
Requesting Your Twitter Archive
1. Log in to your Twitter account and go to your homepage.
2. Select ‘More.’
3. Tap on ‘Settings and Privacy.’
4. You will see your account settings option. Tap on ‘Download an archive of your data.’
5. Verify your identity through a code sent to your e-mail.
6. You will be navigated to another window. There, you will find an option to 'Request Archive.’
7. You will receive an e-mail of that archive, though it may take 24 hours.
8. Once you receive the e-mail with a zip folder, you can extract the file and search your past tweets by dates.
Checking Google Cache
1. Go to your browser and open a new tab.
2. Search Twitter, plus your username.
3. You will see your recent tweets in the search results.
4. Go o to the three dots next to your entry and select ‘Cached.’
5. You will see Google’s cached version of your tweets.
6. Check the date and time of the cache. Once you see the tweet you are searching for, you can take a screenshot.
Using Internet Archive
You can use the internet archive - the Wayback Machine
1. Search archive.org/web (the link is in the description)
2. Enter your Twitter URL and select 'Browse History.'
3. You will view a calendar where you will select the time and date for your deleted tweet
4. You will see the snapshots of your deleted tweets
Through Third-Party Apps and Websites
1. SnapBird: SnapBird is an app that can assist you in finding your deleted tweets. Go to the app and authenticate your Twitter profile. Go to the search bar at the upper-left side of the app. Type a keyword for any of your deleted tweets and search. The app will display all the tweets with that keyword chronologically, based on the publication dates. You can also set a specified date for the deleted tweets.
2. Twipu: This website will also help you see your deleted tweets. Visit the Twipu website at twipu.com (The link is in the description) and enter your Twitter username. Twipu will search your account and compile a list of your deleted tweets. You can sort the list by date.
