Wellingborough Carnival Parade 2023

Wellingborough is in Northamptonshire, about 11 miles from Northampton. The carnival parade returns after an absence of 3 years and what a superb return. The carnival atmosphere is certainly back in the East Midlands town. Wellingborough’s carnival Queen Louisa and her court lead the town’s parade more than three years after they were first selected. The group were chosen in February 2020, just before the country went into lockdown mode. To make it easy for everyone involved, the carnival theme for 2023 is "Anything Goes" The parade sets off from Broad Green and travels around the town to Croyland Park. Those taking part include Ambassador Show Band, Cannon Public House, Eclipse Gymnastics, Irchester Players, Leah Paris Theatrical Arts, Olympic Academy, St Neots Sentinal Majorettes, Unified School of Dance, WACA, Wellie Wombles, ZCC Band, Wellingborough's Eco Group, Library and Street Pastors.
