Taking Control. The BMR handling Lowering Springs are designed and constructed specifically for the 2005 to 2014 GT models in order to lower their ride height and improve handling characteristics. Providing an even drop of 1.5 inches across all four corners, these BMR lowering springs do a nice job of closing the gap between the tire and fender to produce a more aggressive and muscular look. Furthermore, the centre of gravity lowers with the decrease in ride height, and as result body roll, acceleration squat and nose diving are all decreased. Featuring linear rate springs up front and progressive springs in the back, this BMR Lowering Spring package is an ideal upgrade for those that are into road or autocross racing.

Split Rate Springs. The front springs are 240-pound linear spring whereas the rear are a 200-pound progressive rate spring. The front spring helps with the balancing while the rear springs will help keep body roll in check. The BMR Lowering Springs make use of a CNC coiling head and this helps monitor the diameter of the springs as it’s produced. This ensures uniformity in the left and right spring dimensions. BMR also compresses the springs twice so as to ensure there is no sagging with continuous use.

Professional Installation. Mechanical expertise is required as the installation of these springs can be a little difficult to handle and require a lot of precautions. Installation typically takes about 3 hours with the use of a spring compressor.
