Biggest Buddha Statue in Bangkok - How to Get There with MRT - Wat Paknam

69 meters (229 ft) Tal Buddha Statue at Wat Paknam. I took the MRT to Bang Phai MRT station and took a motorcycle taxi to get to the Temple Complex. The temple is easy accessible from both the Talat Phlu BTS station and the Bang Phai MRT station.

In 2017 they started building this new seated Buddha statue. It can be seen from different parts of the Thonburi part of city. The construction work seems to be almost finished. The white Stupa next to the Buddha Statue is 80 meters (260 ft) high.

Across the Canal there is another very interesting temple as well, Wat Khun Chan.
