Facelift Subaru Forester SG Mirrors Install into Non-Facelift Forester SG - T&J Adventures

In this video i will show you the process that i went through in order to install facelift (2005-2008) Forester SG mirrors into my 2004 Forester SG XT.

Previously i had the slim OEM Forester SG mirrors. These were manual folding, heated, electrically adjustable and they had the towing package (stretched image at the edge of the mirrors).

The new mirrors are auto folding, heated, electrically adjustable, they have the towing package and they also have turn signals on them. In this install, i made all these functions work.

I had to paint the new mirrors, so they have a mat black finish on the body, the front cover is glossy gray metallic (same color as other parts on my car) and the turn signals are wrapped with dark tint.

In the end, i'm not sure if i like how big the facelift mirrors are but i really like the fact that they fold at the press of a button and that they have turn signals on them.
