But... What are the gamusinos, what form do they have and what is their origin?

The gamusinos have their origin in pre-Roman iberia. It is a small forest elf that can take the form of a rodent, very joker and should not be underestimated since they are guardians of nature and their jokes can become really dark. According to Lusitanian folklore, the Romans learned this lesson the hard way. Legend has it that when Roman soldiers advanced through the Iberian forests, they heard the cries of children in the thickets. The Romans, thinking that they were children, rushed to capture them to sell them as slaves, not knowing that they were falling into the ambushes of the gamusinos, from where they would never leave again. This will happen to you if you are not a good person. But if you have principles and morals you will have nothing to fear. The gamusinos will only enter your house to change your keys, or your wallet, or some other object of place so that you think you are going crazy. Just say; Gamousinos! And the object will appear.
