Deeper in the Garden - "Fast Fillers"

Описание к видео Deeper in the Garden - "Fast Fillers"

Presented by Greg Paige, Director of Horticulture, Tim Alderton, Research Technician, and Blake Wentley, Education Assistant, JC Raulston Arboretum on September 18, 2024.

No gardener likes bare ground whether we're starting with fresh beds, or filling in the gaps left by the plants that weren't as enthusiastic about being in our garden as we had hoped. For certain plants, waiting for them to fill in the space is like watching grass grow, but there are plenty of species that bulk up and fill in the gaps in just a season or two. Join our Director of Horticulture, Greg, and Research Technician, Tim, as they highlight some of the fast-filling plants that flush out, spread around and fill in gaps quickly, as well as some tips for wrangling in exceptionally ambitious plants to help you maintain a balance and fill your beds to the brim!
