Denomination: Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church.Importance: Famous for its annual feast, Puthuppally Perunnal, dedicated to Saint George. It is celebrated with great fervor and includes processions, prayers, and community gatherings.Architecture: The church is admired for its traditional Kerala architecture, featuring a blend of Persian and local styles. It has intricately carved wooden structures and paintings depicting biblical scenes.
History: Established in the early 16th century, it is one of the oldest churches in Kerala and holds historical significance for the Malankara Orthodox Syrian community. The church is often called Puthuppally Pally or Puthuppally Valiya Pally.
