*What is Scroll Lock in Excel?
Scroll Lock is a keyboard function that allows you to scroll through a spreadsheet using the arrow keys on your keyboard. To enable this feature you’ll have to right click on the status bar and from the list you will find scroll lock. Click that and it will checkmark on the scroll lock. Now you’ll be able to see at the left side of your status bar if your scroll lock is on or off.

*How to Disable Scroll Lock in Excel? *
*Step 1: * Identify the Scroll Lock key on your keyboard
The Scroll Lock key is usually located near the top right corner of your keyboard, above the numeric keypad. It may be labeled as "ScrLk" or "Scroll Lock". To disable Scroll Lock in Excel, press the Scroll Lock key once. This should turn off the Scroll Lock function if it was previously enabled.

*Step 2: * For Dell Laptop User
If you are using Dell Laptop then you’ll not find the as "ScrLk" or "Scroll Lock" button on your keyboard. Instead, you’ll have to click on Fn + S from your keyboard to turn on or off Scroll lock.

*Step 3: * For HP Laptop User
If you are using HP Laptop then you’ll not find the as "ScrLk" or "Scroll Lock" button on your keyboard. Instead, you’ll have to click on Fn + C from your keyboard to turn on or off Scroll lock.

*Step 4: * For General User
If the above steps do not work, you can try on screen keyboard to turn on or off scroll lock. Follow these steps:
1. Click on the Start button on your computer and search “On Screen Keyboard”
2. On the “On Screen Keyboard” You’ll see the ScrLk button highlighted in Blue
3. Click on that button and done.
This should disable the Scroll Lock function in Excel.
