Making transitions in MixMeister is done with your eyes and ears in a mathematical act of placing points (drops) and connecting the lines, exactly the same as you operate the faders on the mixer.
You hear what you're doing and so you keep correcting until you've made the perfect transition. You then look for a track in the same timbre to put the listener in a trance, but just don't give them what they beg for, so you hold them in the chain of the trip.

MixMeister seems easy but it isn't. It's practice, practice and practice. When I listen to my old sets again, I hear nothing but mistakes ... DJs listen to sets differently, pay attention to the technical part, the build-up, transitions, the suction. It's not about how you do it, but what your result is in quality. Let everyone make their own choice, not everyone has a Pioneer or Technics budget. Live and let live.

I've been working with that program for 13 years and enjoy the experience. Before that I was a vinyl DJ, but quickly switched to digital mixing because then you can go to perfection from set building and seamless transitions, spoil the ears, who wants to hear it.

Blue line = volume fader
Orange line = bass fader
Yellow line - trebble fader
Purple line = midrange fader
