of Type 2 Diabetes, Obesity and Dyslipidemia”

Aligned with the main International Conference on “Ayurveda and Integrative Approaches to Obesity and
Metabolic Syndrome” (CARI–IISc–NIMHANS collaboration). Key Focus: This Satellite Symposium focuses
on combining the wisdom and strengths of traditional Indian system of Ayurveda [Sanskrit āyus ‘life’ + veda
‘(sacred) knowledge’] and Modern Medicine to achieve holistic management of type 2 diabetes, obesity and
dyslipidemia. Organized by: Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru (Center of Excellence in Ayurveda
for Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders; Ministry of Ayush, Government of India).
