To celebrate Insect Week 2025, World Museum has partnered with MITIE Landscapes and the Royal Entomological Society to showcase a selection of winning entries from the RES annual photography competition.

Taken by insect enthusiasts from across the globe, the images highlight just how beautiful the natural world - and insects in particular - can be.

In this walkthrough, Assistant Curator of Entomology Josh Boe runs us through his favourite photos from the display!

The display is on until the 20 Jul 2025 and is free to visit! You can be find it in between the Bug House and the Clore Natural History Centre on Level 2 of World Museum.
