Yep, here's another banger from the Savoy boys, Gilbert & Sullivan! In this opera, 'Patience', two poets vie for the affection of an eccentric young milkmaid named... well, Patience, who hasn't the faintest clue what love is or why everyone loves it so much. One of the poets, named Bunthorne, has attracted the attention of every other girl in town, and though he enjoys female attention, he secretly hates poetry, as he confesses to the audience in this jaunty aria.

And no, you're not the only one who thinks it kinda sounds like the "veritable smorgasbord" song from Charlotte's Web - I guess the Sherman Brothers were big fans of Gil & Sully as well.
