What Makes Something Lovecraftian - Arkham Reporter

What are the aspects that are vital to the genre "Lovecraftian horror"? What makes it what it is? This video is my opinion on this issue, using many examples from films such as The Thing (1982 & 2011) because I think those films are exemplary examples of the genre.

If you have a video request I will do it for free (if I have time + it's a good idea). To make a profit off the Mythos goes completely against what Lovecraft was about so I will never do that.
