It is totally worth taking a day trip to Florence to see major attractions like th Brunelleschi's Dome Florence Cathedral, formally the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore (Italian: Duomo di Firenze), or the Ufizzi Galeries but we highly taking the less beaten path.

Uncovering masterpieces in the Uffizi, Duomo, Ponte Vecchio is definitely fun if you don't mind the crowds, yet during our trip, we found out that there's never a question of what to do in Florence rather, it's a question of how much and when.

While we unavoidably fell in the common tourist traps on our first time in Florence, on the second time around we learned to go towards the opposite direction of the crowds. Our adventures took us to Boboli Gardens and the Galileo Galilei museum - both beautiful hidden treasures that are worth every penny and will leave your soul richer and happier.
