OTIS Compass 360 Elevators - Radisson BLU Plaza Hotel, Oslo, NO

Sadly I was already too late; the famous high speed KONE elevators in Norway's second tallest building have been recently modernized by OTIS with Compass 360 destination dispatch :(

While these look nice, the previous KONE elevators were much nicer and epic as they had very unique fixtures with rectangular M buttons and that super tall floor indicator display with moving dot that represented the car position. At least the mod now is a destination dispatch and runs at 6 m/sec so this is still okay. Btw this is my first time riding an OTIS Compass 360, which is now the third generation Compass system.

This video covers the high rise elevators serving from floor 16 to 32, the former is a transfer floor where guests can switch over to the low rise elevators and vice versa. Floor 33 is a public restaurant and bar which is why it is not locked, while the guestroom floors need a keycard. There is also a service elevator on floor 33 which is still an original KONE but I didn't risk trying that as I didn't want to get into trouble.
