I was/am a huge Three Stooges fan. For me, their slickly choreographed slapstick was up there with the greats, including Chaplin.

Global comedic tastes have changed over the years; we don't see much "classic" slapstick any more. Lucy loved to play it and Isabel Sanford always wished for more opportunities to play physical comedy than "The Jeffersons" gave us. By the way, her last season episode with guest star Sammy Davis, Jr. has some of the funniest physical comedy between the two than I have seen in a very long time.

In the 1970s, while still is high school, I was given the opportunity to host a weekly talk show on WBZ-FM, in Boston. As a huge fan of pop culture, I created a platform that allowed me to meet, interview and get to know some of my favorites: Desi Arnaz, Jim Nabors, Joan Rivers, Paul Lynde, Ted Knight, Jerry Lewis ... and Moe Howard.

We have had a clip from one of my interviews with Moe on our RerunIt YouTube channel for a while now ... and ever since that brief clip was uploaded, we have been getting requests to put more content from that interview online.

So, here it is. Uncut, live and Moe at his best. He talks about how the Three Stooges came to be, how to throw the perfect pie and he talks a little politics. It was 1974 and Watergate was on everyone's mind. It's interesting to hear how much what he said then rings true today. Wow. It was April 24, 1974.

The first ten minutes or so is "audio-challenged." We cleaned it up as best as we could. But the rest is as clear as it was the day was recorded it.
