Cervical cerclage, a stitching procedure utilized in the mouth of the uterus, is the topic of today's discussion. Women who are 4-5 months pregnant and in the second trimester are considered that the baby is developing quickly inside the uterus. As the uterus grows, the mouth of the uterus should close and get stronger toward the end of the pregnancy, which is known as a term pregnancy. The mouth of the cervix is crucial during pregnancy if it results in pre-term delivery.

Some patients may result in serious risk factors, such as cervical length decreasing over the course of the second trimester, or 4-5 months. Some women who have developed this issue in a first pregnancy are monitored and given a change in cervical length in subsequent pregnancies. The person who developed this problem can be treated earlier or develop latex in the cervix at the end of the fifth month. Is cerclage a viable option or not? It can vary depending on the patient characteristics. Pre-term birth and entering term pregnancy for more than two or three patients can be avoided, although occasionally may result in pre-term birth for some patients.

A minor probability of the ice pitcher breaking exists if cervical cerclage is treated, as the patient may experience some infection as a result of that infection. The obstetrician will recommend extra procedures, such as taking rest, if the patient needs cerclage, which is preferable in the early stage itself.
