Squaring up Large Blocks With Freezer Paper (Ep. 203)

Описание к видео Squaring up Large Blocks With Freezer Paper (Ep. 203)

If you need to square up a block that's larger than your ruler (15" example), you can use freezer paper as a fill-in for the desired size. Here's how: cut off a chunk of freezer paper and fold it in half. Cut the paper at half the width/length needed (8-1/2" for a 16" square). Center up the block under the freezer paper (with the wax side facing down. Press the freezer paper down with your iron. The melted wax will hold on to your appliqué piece. Now line up your ruler with the edge of the freezer paper and trim off to the desired size. Peel off the freezer paper and your block is at the correct finished size.
