How RDBMS Relationships Work

Описание к видео How RDBMS Relationships Work

In this video, we're going to learn how the relationships in relational database management systems work. We're going to talk about one-to-one, one-to-many, and many-to-many relationships, and learn a simple method on how to choose tables for joining in a single query or view. One method will highlight the problem of duplicates that result from query joins, and how to design queries to avoid it. We'll also learn about explicit and implicit relationships between tables, and to be careful to watch for automatic joins when we make queries. We'll cover some of the extended solutions in upcoming videos, including the use of common table expressions, inline queries and others.
