Bulleid pacifics on goods trains and Slim Jim Crompton [super special video]

Recently there was a discussion regarding Bulleid’s pacifics on goods trains and whether this actually occurred. It certainly did.
This video was inspired by a photograph in my book: ‘Bulleid Pacifics at work by Colonel HCB Rogers OBE’
We take a look at a Bulleid West Country recreating the photo followed by one of the powerful Merchant Navy class locos again with a goods train and end up examining a class 33/s and discussing why this model marks a personal milestones for me.
