Delhi Police register FIR against Rahul Gandhi for Injuring 2 BJP MPs. The complaint was filed on the basis of the complaint given by BJP MPs Anurag Thakur and Bansuri Swaraj. Reportedly, the Delhi Police has taken a legal opinion regarding the matter since Rahul Gandhi is a Lok Sabha member

An FIR under section 117 (voluntary causing grievous hurt), 125 (act of endangering life or personal safety of others), 131 (use of criminal force).....351 (criminal intimidation) and 3(5) (common intention) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) was registered

The development took place hours after dramatic visuals emerged from Parliament. A massive showdown between the BJP and Congress MPs over HM Amit Shah’s Ambedkar Remark. This led to injuries to two BJP MPs – Pratap Chandra Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput
