Giani Sohan Singh Seetal (ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸੋਹਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੀਤਲ ਜੀ)

Giani Sohan Singh Seetal 1909-1998 was a Punjabi author poet and lyricist. He has written poetry, novels and history. He wrote Sikh history, the books are Sikh Raj Kiven gya, Sikh Raj Kive Banya, Sikh Ithaas in 5 parts, Manukhta De Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Gurbaani Vichaar, Banda Singh Shaheed Banda Bahadur,Vekhi Main Duniya, Sital Hanju (Dhadhi Varran. Apart from Sikh history he wrote novels and poetry. His novel “Jug Badal Gya” won the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1974. He performed in Sikh temples with his Dhadhi Jatha extensively.This segment was recorded during Prof. Mohan Singh Mela in Oct 1992, he was awarded with Jasowal Award.
