This particular edition of our Snare Spotlight series is all about the fine work of Mr. Johnny Craviotto. Johnny passed away two years ago this weekend and we wanted to pay tribute to the incredible contributions he made to the world of drums and drum building by featuring the three Craviotto snares that we own between the two of us.

The Craviotto steam bent snare drums are really something special and we've got a separate video soon to be released that will do a bit more to demonstrate them from a performance standpoint. This video is focused on the history and details behind these impressive instruments.
