First section is more sikaran with a two-ball pendulum, second section is handwork, introducing the principle of every movement having meaning (i.e., every angle/moment/movement contains a strike, basically - Sonny's trademark was incorporating 4-5 different separate strikes within what most martial artists would consider "one" strike.
