Remembering the 80s: The Year in Christmas, 1988

It was a Sunday morning, December 25th, and under the tree, there was a good chance that Santa brought you a Nintendo Entertainment System, Barbie, Ghostbuster Proton Packs, Micro Machines, or Dolly Surprise! It was the last year of the Reagan administration. The Winter Olympics took place in Calgary and the Summer Olympics were held in Seoul South Korea. NASA resumed space flights after the Challenger disaster, Rhianna was born at the beginning of the year and Michael Cera was born that Summer. This was the year in Christmas,1988.
