SOLVED!! UK How Reset Bypass & Log in after forgotten password on APPLE IMAC 2006

How to log in after forgetting password on imac 2006, this may work with other models if so please comment below so you can help others.

I purchased this imac 2006 but couldnt get passed the password screen so the following video will you help you bypass if you forget your password.

1. Turn on or restart Imac

2. Hold command & S

This will take you to command script screen

3.Press enter and you will get to root Command

4. Type fsck - fy (to check the system, you don't have to enter this and go straight to number step 5.)

5. Type mount -uw / press enter

6. Type rm /var/db/.applesetupdone press enter

7. Type reboot and press enter

This process removes the file off the system and restarts as if new computer setup

8. Create new user and Enter new password

9. Once loaded to home screen, click on system preferences

10. Click on account and select the user that you forgot the password and set them a new password

And log out and log into user account and should work
