Woocommerce UPS Shipping Labels Plugin

The WooCommerce UPS Toolbox allows you to generate shipping labels for each package, and in the process, it stores the tracking number and triggers UPS to send a notification email to the customer with the tracking number.

I'm calling this "WooCommerce UPS Toolbox" because, although today it's only capable of generating shipping labels, in future releases, it will also:

Calculate Shipping Rates at checkout
Handle package tracking and optionally send emails when the order is received by the carrier or delivered
Calculate time to ship (for perishable time-sensitive shipments)
Schedule a pickup
This extension requires that your hosting environment is using PHP 5.3 (or later) and the SOAP PHP extension installed and enabled. Hostgator definitely has it. For other hosts, you can use phpinfo to determine this. I recommend Wordpress phpinfo().

Note: your web host may have multiple versions of PHP installed, and you may need to update your php.ini or .htaccess file to enable PHP 5.3

UPS notes:

In order to use this software you will need several things from UPS (United Parcel Service).
1. A valid UPS shipper number.
2. An online account at www.ups.com (you will need a valid shipper number first). Make sure you choose a username
and password you are comfortable keeping for a while. This will be stored by the plugin.
3. Sign up for API access at www.ups.com/upsdeveloperkit.
Once approved, you will receive an API key that you will need to use for every API call.
