Now that I've had some time playing around with the Pip-Boy 2000 mk 6, I can conclude that this is the type of product for Fallout fans. Unfortunately, no one is going to care... this Pip-Boy will only appeal to Fallout players. I think the $180 price is a very fair price for what you are getting: light up features, very limited release (2,200 units), and material is great and designed to be worn. Plus, it's "professional assembled" as printed on their box.

I suggest if you want one, just get one, because once it's gone, you're going to regret it (like how I regret not able to get the build kit when it was originally released four years ago).

Fear not, there will be two other variants: Sugar Bomb and Enclave versions. I will save up some money, but I want those other variants as well!

Also, I am so impressed with the Pip-Boy, that I ended up buying an after market Pip-Boy bluetooth speaker stand for $100. I want to say it was originally cheaper... I've seen it as low as $40, but at the time I didn't have a PipBoy to make use of the stand. Now that I have one, I really want an official stand for display.

Overall, I'm very happy with the Pip-Boy. I'm going to buy more Wand Company's products, such as their Fallout diecast truck and whatever I can get my hands on.
