TURNING POINT: 1994 Ibrahimi Mosque Massacre

On 25 February 1994, on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, US-born Jewish settler Baruch Goldstein entered the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City of Hebron.

Four minutes into dawn prayers, Goldstein opened fire, killing 29 Muslims, some of them as young as 12, and permanently changing the lives of Palestinians.
