Ullswater Kayak - Norfolk Island

Hi, this is my first trip to the lakes with the Kayak.
I'd been watching the weather all week and it was perfect the morning I finished night shift.
I parked in a layby on the edge of Ullswater about a mile north of Aira Force Waterfalls and paddled down the lake toward Norfolk Island.
Where I chilled out in the sun, read my book , took some amazing drone footage and photos.
Oh and had a couple of beers. 🍺
I set up camp just before dark and by then I was shattered. So settled down for the night. I woke up about 10 when I could hear lads talking.
I heard one say , someone's beat us to it. I'm not surprised, its 10pm haha. Must have been great paddling over by moonlight though. they hung around for a bit and after they went I got up and had a look around. The sky was beautiful. the moon shone right across the lake.
I got up about 0615 had coffee and started packing up. Had another coffee and left about 0830. It was calm enough to get drone up.
First time I've launched it from open water so a bit nervy.
