Behind-The-Scenes Of Orphan Black Season 2 With Evelyne Brochu

On January 8, 2014, I visited the set of Orphan Black. The upstart Canadian drama stars Tatiana Maslany who plays a series of cloned characters and the show focuses on the mysteries surrounding her birth and creation. While on set, I was given an exclusive tour of the DYAD laboratory and Dr. Aldous Leekie's office by cast member Evelyne Brochu (who plays Dr. Delphine Cormier ). Before the tour, we discussed the show's success, and how Brochu has basically become the show's lead supporting female (given all of the different characters on Maslany's docket). We also chatted about the risqué lesbian storyline that Brochu's character is involved and how science and love is intertwined for both Delphine and Cosima. I asked Brochu if the show becomes increasingly complex in its second season and if the show can only be enjoyed by 'smart' fans. Brochu also offered a preview for what to expect when Orphan Black premieres tonight at 9 p.m. on Space.
