The Data Verification for Registration (2023) process has been operational through dedicated online portal since 1 August, 2024 and was to remain open till 11 August, 2024 (Midnight). However, on request from various schools, the portal is being kept open till 17 August 2024 (Midnight). Despite this, it is observed that out of the 9186 schools, 7953 have logged in, 1233 schools have not yet even accessed the portal, and 1759 schools still have not finalized their data for submission.

Moreover, the Board has received over 1800 requests through email for additional access due to incorrect/incomplete/unedited final submission. Through this Notification, attention of all Heads of the Institutions of such schools is drawn to the fact that it is the prime responsibility of all concerned at the school-end to protect the right of every valid student of the school to get registered while the process is ongoing and not at a later stage when there is no scope for the Board to adjust its preparation for Madhyamik Pariksha and entertain deliberate lapses, despite repeated reminders and openings.

Notwithstanding the above, West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, in the interest of the students of Class IX (2023), offers one last opening from 18 August 2024 to 22 August 2024 (Midnight) for all such schools to complete the process of Registration, as well as with the option to edit and resubmit all incorrect/incomplete/unedited final submissions already made. This window for verification is being given to ensure that the Registration process is complete and errorless for all candidates. Since no further scope will be available after 22 August 2024 (Midnight), therefore, all Heads of the Institutions are again earnestly requested to complete the process of data verification for Registration of Class IX (2023) students of their respective school.
