Brain Age: Concentration Training Playthrough Part 1

Описание к видео Brain Age: Concentration Training Playthrough Part 1

This is a small Playthrough that I just felt like doing, simply because I think that this series is quite overlooked. I got this game today, and it's quite good so far. As you can see, I am not too good at the game yet, but hopefully, I'll get better as I play more. This Playthrough will show every activity this game has to offer (except ones that require the microphone).

In this part, we meet Dr. Ryuta Kawashima, who has a new set of activities up his sleeve, which he likes to call "Devilish Training". These activities are focused entirely on concentration. Focus more, and you'll do a better job. The better you do at a certain activity, the higher the level for that activity will be. You start with a grade of "F", and will progressively get a higher rank by filling up the meter depending on how well you do in the activities.

These are the activities shown in this part:

Devilish Calculations: In this activity, you need to answer simple equations, but here's the catch: An equation will come up, but you must write down the answer for the question before the most recent one, while taking note of the answer for the recent one. This one is all about memorization. The better you do at the game, the further apart the answers willl be.

Devilish Pairs: This game works like "Memory", except that you need to memorize the numbers on the cards that you flip. If you flip the same card and don't match it the next time, it will count as a miss. The higher the level, the more cards there will be, along with more digits.

Calculations x 20: This is just like it was in the first Brain Age. You need to answer 20 questions as quickly as you can.

Block Head: This game has you against Kawashima in point-collecting. You must land on blocks and collect points. When you land on a block, it's considered your property. The bigger the block, the more points you get. This game is all about strategy. You can "block" your opponent, in which you'll collect the remaining blocks on the screen.

Blob Blast: This is one of the relaxation activities you can do. This game plays a lot like Wario's Woods. You must pair a Bomb with three of the Blobs to blow them up. Some Blobs require a diagonal blast, two blasts, or two blasts in a set time limit to destroy them. If the Blobs and Bombs reach the top of the screen, you lose.
