For this to work you have to have Navi. She talks to you every 20 min I think so if you wanna use this glitch you better time it.

Step 1. Jump down into the water.
Step 2. Climb up the ladder.
Step 3. Jumpslash with dekustick/sword and right after spam C-Up to speak to Navi.

This will make link fall down to the bottom and you can swim into the well.
