Unfortunately this sub had a big crack in the cone from a nasty knock in the trunk. There was no way it could play without the broken cone flapping about and sounding like garbage, so I had a bit of fun with it. Rated at 350 watts rms, getting about 900 watts from an Alpine amplifier and about 5 minutes was what it took.
Before anyone says it’s a waste of a sub, I recycle and reuse what I can. The magnets will be taken apart and used else where and the basket will be used for cutout testing.
