Pentagon press secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder took questions from reporters Tuesday after South Korea's president issued a martial law declaration that the country's parliament voted to defy. South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol is accusing the country's opposition party, which controls the parliament, of sympathizing with North Korea.
