Maury compares the Martin GPC-28E and the GPCPA1 Plus Sunburst. The GPC-28E features a traditional dovetail neck joint and standard X non-scalloped bracing. The GPCPA1 Plus has a mortise & tenon neck joint and Hybrid X scalloped bracing. Which do you prefer and why? Audio was recorded with a Rode NTG-2 direct to disk - no processing, effects or EQ. The pickup systems are different on each guitar but in this comparison video we are NOT hearing the electronics. The GPC-28E features the new (2016) Fishman Aura VT Enhance- an undersaddle pickup + Aura image pre-blended, with controls for a mid-scoop EQ and an Enhance bridgeplate sensor volume wheel. You can blend in 0-100% bridgeplate tone to taste. The GPCPA1 Plus features the FIshman Aura F1+ . It's an undersaddle pickup that let's you choose 4 preset sounds: Pickup, Aura Image 1, Aura Image 2 or Aura image 3. Again, this video is not comparing these plugged-in sounds.
