Adobe tasked me to think creatively about how I could use Adobe Premiere Pro to ‘Time Travel’ - As a Premiere native, I’ve been using the application for years. Finding new ways to creatively tell stories is a crucial part of the filmmaking process and the ability to reflect on past work is fundamental to understanding how to make better things! So with this brief, I approached the rather daunting task of editing together a film with my travels over the last couple years. With Covid-19 preventing flights, I’ve really missed travelling (as has everyone) and so this film was a look at the world 2 years ago. A time, when ultimately, I took travel for granted. Using Adobe Premiere Pro to piece this together was a really eye opening experience. I’m excited to take the new found knowledge and apply it to my work in the future.
