Although it could’ve been easily missed with all of the movies twists and turns, Fantastic Beasts 2 The Crimes of Grindelwald spends a bit of time exploring the Lestrange family tree.

In the movie Credence Barebone is orphaned and believes his true identity is Corvus Lestrange, so he goes to Paris in search of his mother. However Leta Lestrange has a dark secret about what really happened to her brother Corvus
