With a spare couple of days, the week before the Great Dorset Steam Fair, I planned a camping trip into Dorset to visit a number of attractions. My first visit was to the Yeovil Railway Centre, located alongside Yeovil Junction mainline station, the railway centre has a small museum cafe, as well as offering brake van trips along a section of track. On the day of my visit the service was handled by a diesel locomotive, although steam days do take place throughout the year.
