Masala Bhindi

Ingredients for Fried Bhindi:
Oil 1 cup
Onion (sliced) 2 cups
Bhindi 1 kg

Ingredients for Masala Bhindi:
Oil 1/4 cup
Green chilies (chopped) 3 tbsp
Tomato puree 1 cup
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Achar gosht masala 1 tbs
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Cumin powder 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Yogurt 1 cup
Fried bhindi
Green coriander (chopped) as required

Directions for Fried Bhindi Preparation:
1. In a pot heat oil and add onion, cook until translucent. Now add bhindi and fry for 8-10 mins. Set aside.
Directions for Masala Bhindi Preparation:
2. Heat oil in a pot and add ginger, garlic, green chilies. Sauté for a minute.
3. Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt and cook for 2-3 mins.
4. Add yogurt and cook until oil separates. Now add fried bhindi and mix it well. Cover and cook for 4-5 mins.
5. Dish it out and garnish it with green coriander. Your Masala Bhindi is ready. Serve and enjoy.

Cooking time: 30 mins
