When I mention about the on-auto-off setting I'm not positive which way you have to set it it's just something you will have to play around with. This timer is very accurate as long as you set the time exactly to the correct time, i already use a vivosun timer before I got this one and it hasn't let me down and I'd recommend this product especially if you like quality and consistency and I do.
